Over the Threshold!!

O.k. Here I am. Over the threshold into Blogdom. I was waiting for my wizard computer husband to make me a gorgeous spot, but it was taking a bit. So. Here i am.

Two things I want to do on my blog is share what I am listening to music wise and to share what I am reading. I have repeatedly had friends asking me lately, so this is the place to find out.

To date:

I am listening to "Station Wagon" by Sara Groves. Amazing. I am totally absorbed in it right now. What a raw/wonderful cd about parenthood. She has an amazing fairytale lullaby song titled "Morning is on the Other Side". The texture of the song is SO rich, yet the actual song is SO simple. I love it!

I am reading "Phantastes" by George MacDonald. I had just finished an anthology of his fairytales called "The Gifts of the Child Christ". I feel like I am walking around seeing things behind every tree and rock. No wonder Sara's song is so strong for me right now.

Anyway. There we are. My first footprint into the new frontier.
Peace to you.

Lewis wrote that he read the book, Phantastes, and it baptised his imagination. I figured that would be good for me too!! It has been pretty wild!
