Made me think of Jan!
The Sea Gypsy
I am fevered with the sunset,
I am fretful with the bay,
For the wander-thirst is on me
And my soul is in Cathay.
There's a schooner in the offing,
With her topsails shot with fire,
And my heart has gone aboard her
For the Islands of Desire.
I must forth again to-morrow!
With the sunset I must be
Hull down on the trail of rapture
In the wonder of the sea.

Ahoy matey! Happy "sails" to you!!

Please, I want to live...
Closing Prayer for Wednesday Morning
O Sun behind all suns
O Soul within all souls
grant me the grace of the dawn's glory
grant me the strength of the sun's rays
that I may be well in my own soul
and part of the world's healing this day
that I may be well in my own soul
and part of the world's healing this day.

Celtic Benediction
I appreciate this book so much, giving me words for my heart, when my own well is so dry.

Neverland and Unicorns
Today the kids and I came upon a "truffle" from God!
Lately we have watched the movie "Finding Neverland". We actually watched it four times in a row... if you're going to rent a movie, and it is good; then, "get every viewing penny you can out of it", is our motto!
Today, I started humming the old song, "A long time ago, when the earth was green..."
Well. My eldest son, E, heard that and asked what I was singing. I could not remember all the words, so we went to the lovely Internet and our trusty friend Google and we looked up the lyrics.
We came across this Gem. Click on "LoFi" and it will play for you. It is a pretty raw recording, but has a great twist so, listen all the way to the end. Fun!
Deo Gratias!
