On the brink of Advent...

I have been writing up a preparatory lesson to teach the kids of Abbey Way about Advent; which begins in a few weeks...

(by the way... I have been hired to teach the Children's Chapel at Abbey Way Covenant Church... I can't remember if I told Blog world, yet, or not!! That is a lot of why I have been so quiet... it is a bit of a learning curve for me...) (It's been amazing, though!)

So. I got done writing my lesson and then I read my daily "Inward Outward" email. Very apropos!

What to Do in the Darkness
Marilyn Chandler McEntyre

Go slowly
Consent to it
But don't wallow in it
Know it as a place of germination
And growth
Remember the light
Take an outstretched hand if you find one
Exercise unused senses
Find the path by walking it
Practice trust
Watch for dawn
